We are hiring a Prep Cook for our Ballantyne location. This role is focused on daily kitchen prep and production that keeps the restaurant ready for service. You will be responsible for preparing ingredients from scratch, completing batch recipes, organizing product, and maintaining strong rotation and cleanliness standards. This position is prep forward, but you will also be cross trained on the line so you can support service when needed. Pay starts at $13 per hour, and with shared tips, team members typically earn $16 to $19 per hour.
What You’ll Do
- Prep fresh cut fries from scratch for daily service
- Clean, portion, and prepare chicken to Bossy standards
- Dice and prepare fresh produce for batch recipes and daily use
- Complete recipes accurately and consistently for sauces, sides, and other prepared items
- Label, date, organize, and rotate product using first in, first out practices
- Keep prep areas clean, stocked, and organized throughout the shift
- Set up and maintain proper mise en place to support a smooth service
- Assist with opening and closing duties including cleaning and station reset
- Learn line stations and support service as needed through cross training
- Work with urgency, consistency, and attention to detail in a fast paced kitchen
