Location: Shreveport, LA

Pay: $30–$35/hour (Guaranteed 50 hours/week; rate depends on experience and certifications)

Position Overview

We are seeking two experienced Diesel Mechanics for a reputable company in Shreveport, LA. Qualified candidates must be able to rebuild semi-engines (in-frame/overhaul) and have a strong work ethic, positive attitude, and the ability to work independently. This position offers consistent overtime, a supportive team environment, and excellent benefits.

Key Responsibilities

• Rebuild and perform in-frame overhauls on semi-truck engines
• Diagnose and troubleshoot diesel engine issues
• Plan and execute repair work based on diagnostics and inspections
• Perform repairs on vehicle systems, including suspensions, transmissions, brakes, and exhausts
• Conduct oil changes, wheel alignments, brake checks, and general maintenance
• Maintain accurate service records and manage parts inventory
• Work collaboratively with the team and participate in an on-call rotation
  
  

Requirements

• Proven ability to rebuild semi-engines (REQUIRED)
• Strong diagnostic and mechanical skills
• Must pass: Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check, drug screen, and criminal background check
• Solid work ethic and a team-first attitude
• Relevant certifications preferred; higher pay rate for advanced certifications and internal overhaul capabilities
