Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic, part time Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and customer service, with experience in fine dining or nightclub environments. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for creating exceptional beverage experiences for our guests while ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. Your expertise in various POS systems, including Aloha and Micros, will be essential in managing orders efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and standards.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and responding to inquiries.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including proper food handling and safety practices.
- Manage cash handling processes accurately, including processing payments and handling tips.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food and beverages during banquets and catering events.
- Monitor inventory levels of bar supplies, including liquor, mixers, glassware, and garnishes.
- Uphold all health and safety regulations within the bar area.
- Utilize time management skills to efficiently serve multiple guests during peak hours.
Qualifications
- Previous bartending experience in a restaurant or nightclub setting is preferred.
- Familiarity with Aloha POS or Micros POS systems is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to create a friendly atmosphere for patrons.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and sales transactions.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and food handling regulations.
- Experience in banquet service or catering is advantageous.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
