Bossbites | Hybrid (in-office remote) | Full-time
Bossbites is hiring a National Sales Manager to own and grow our relationships with natural and conventional grocery distributors — UNFI, KeHe, C&S, and others. This is the person who becomes the face of Bossbites to our distributor partners: managing the day-to-day account relationship, driving new distribution placements, and making sure product moves efficiently from warehouse to shelf.
This role reports directly to Bruno J. D’Uva, Co-founder and President, and is one of the first dedicated sales hires on the team, with real input into how we build out the channel.
What You’ll Do• Own and manage relationships with UNFI, KeHe, C&S, and regional/specialty distributors — from onboarding new distribution centers to resolving day-to-day issues (purchase orders, chargebacks, deductions, fill rates)
• Drive new item authorizations and expand distribution across existing distributor DCs
• Build and manage a broker network where needed to support regional retail execution
• Own demand forecasting and inventory planning by distributor/DC to avoid stockouts and overstock
• Negotiate trade spend, slotting, and promotional programs with distributor category managers
• Track and report on sell-through, velocity, and distribution gains, and use that data to prioritize where to push next
• Partner closely with marketing and operations on launches, promotions, and supply planning
• Represent Bossbites at trade shows and distributor category reviews
• 4 years in CPG sales, with direct experience managing UNFI, KeHe, C&S, or similar natural/conventional distributor relationships
• A track record of winning new distribution and growing existing accounts
• Comfort with the operational side of distributor management — deductions, chargebacks, forecasting — not just the relationship side
• Strong Excel and data skills, with the ability to build your own sell-through and forecast reports
• A self-starter who has built process before, since a lot of this will be building the playbook as you go
• Willingness to travel for distributor meetings, trade shows, and category reviews

Bonus: existing relationships with UNFI, KeHe, or C&S category managers, or experience at an early-stage or growth-stage food brand.
