Job Summary:

As a technical engineer, you will be responsible for utilizing engineering principles and methodologies to solve technical problems, design systems, and ensure the smooth operation of various processes within the organization. Your role will involve collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, analyzing requirements, and implementing innovative solutions to meet project objectives.

Major Duties:

• Product Design and Development: Develop prototypes and conduct feasibility studies to evaluate new concepts and technologies. Lead the development and implementation of new products and processes, from initial concept to commercialization.
• Technical Analysis: Conduct thorough analysis of technical requirements, feasibility studies, and risk assessments to identify potential issues and propose effective solutions.
• Project Management: Manage projects from conception to completion, including defining project scope, setting timelines, allocating resources, and ensuring adherence to budget constraints. Document project progress, findings, and outcomes in detailed reports and presentations.
• Troubleshooting & Maintenance: Diagnose and resolve technical issues, perform regular maintenance tasks, and implement upgrades or enhancements to existing systems to optimize performance and reliability.
• Collaboration & Communication: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, developers, technicians, and stakeholders, to gather requirements, share knowledge, and ensure alignment with project goals. This position will work closely with the sales department.
• Quality & compliance: Conduct rigorous testing and validation procedures to ensure the quality, reliability, and compliance of technical solutions with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Documentation and Reporting: Create comprehensive technical documentation, technical drawings, including design specifications, test plans, user manuals, and progress reports, to facilitate knowledge sharing and project tracking.
• Continuous Improvement: Stay abreast of emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices, and actively contribute to process improvements and innovation initiatives within the organization.
• Manufacturing Leadership: guiding production teams, optimizing operational processes, and driving continuous improvement on the plant floor or within an organization.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, Physics, Supply Chain, or similar field
• Proven experience in technical engineering roles, with a strong background in system design, development, and implementation.
• 1-5 years of experience in controls engineering role-preferred

·        Proficient in SolidWorks Electrical, SolidWorks 3D, AutoCAD -Required

• Solid understanding of engineering principles, including mechanical, electrical, or software engineering, depending on the specific role.

Skills and Qualifications:

·        Excellent problem-solving skills, analytical thinking, and attention to detail.

·        Strong project management abilities, including time management, resource allocation, and stakeholder communication.

·        Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.

·        Inventory Management System(s) – Oracle, SalesForce, Fishbowl -Preferred

·        Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite -Required

·        Adobe Creative Suite - Required

·        Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) / Automation, Human-Machine Interface (HMI)-Preferred

Physical Requirements:

·        Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk/working on a computer (often)

·        Must be able to lift 25lbs. (occasionally)

·        Warehouse environments with occasional extreme heat/loud machinery (occasionally)

·        Ability to travel via plane and automobile (occasionally)
