Sterilization & Records Technician - Orthodontic Assistant

Boss Orthodontics is a new, progressive, technology-driven orthodontic practice where we provide high-end, high-quality care with a focus on customer service.
We are looking for a motivated, positive individual who can be an amazing clinician and cheery, welcoming face of the practice. Team oriented, high energy, willingness to learn, coachable, professionalism and excellent communication skills are a must! Previous customer service experience, orthodontic and/or dental assisting experience is highly encouraged but not necessary. This is a great entry level position for someone new to dental! High school diploma, registered dental assistant (Texas RDA license), x-ray certification and CPR are required. We believe in the careful selection of team members, with great attitudes, who also embody the positive Boss Orthodontics ethos. We are a small-knit, drama-free zone!
Tasks include- answering the phones, scheduling new patient appointments, facilitating completion of digital patient documents, taking digital radiographs, performing orthodontic assistant duties, infection control and sterilization, and communication with patients and families about treatment, utilizing digital work flow with 3D printer for aligners/retainers (lab work)- and being an overall Rockstar!
The position is currently part to full time 18-33 hours per week.
We see patients Monday - Friday on a rotating basis. Would need to be available M-F but will likely only work 4 days per week (3 clinic days and .5-1.5 non clinic days)
Total hours: 18-33 hrs per week
Job Type: Part TIME / Full Time
Salary: $16.00 - $24.00 per hour (Rate commiserate with experience)
