Company Description
Boss Media is a videography and marketing agency helping local businesses grow through content, social media, and paid ads. We're looking for a motivated Social Media Manager to join our team and take full ownership of client accounts.
We work with businesses in real estate, hospitality, medical, and other service-based industries throughout Metro Detroit and beyond.
This is a contract role with real growth potential. You'll start with a few accounts and expand as we scale.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Filming content on-site with clients (roughly 2x/month per account)
- Planning content strategy based on client goals and current trends
- Creating graphics when needed (no video editing — our team handles that)
- Writing captions and optimizing posts for each platform
- Scheduling and managing content through Metricool
- Communicating directly with clients and managing those relationships
- Tracking performance and delivering monthly reports
- Bringing fresh ideas to the table consistently
What We're Looking For:
- Based in Metro Detroit / Michigan area (local is a must)
- Proven experience managing social media accounts (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook)
- Comfortable on camera and behind one
- Organized, reliable, and able to juggle multiple clients at once
- Strong communicator, with both our team and clients
- Creative thinker who stays on top of trends
