Job Summary:
BOSS, LLC is seeking motivated and mechanically inclined individuals for Water Mechanic I and II positions. This is a hands-on role supporting critical water and infrastructure systems, with the potential to transition into a full-time position for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform maintenance and repair on pumps, valves, motors, and related equipment
- Diagnose mechanical issues and complete efficient repairs
- Perform welding, fabrication, and metal work
- Maintain plumbing systems, tanks, and pump stations
- Assist with facility and structural maintenance as needed
- Conduct inspections in compliance with regulatory standards
- Respond to overtime, standby, and emergency callouts
Qualifications:
Mechanic I:
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum 1 year of mechanical, industrial, or trade experience
Mechanic II:
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum 3 years of industrial or pump maintenance experience
All Candidates:
- Ability to obtain required certifications (forklift, rigging, water systems, etc.)
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Good communication and teamwork abilities
Requirements:
- Must live within 40 minutes for emergency response
- Ability to lift 100 lbs and perform physically demanding work
- Comfortable working outdoors and around machinery/chemicals
- Willingness to work overtime, callouts, and standby shifts
