Position Overview:
This service professional will be primarily responsible for a positive customer experience on service and warranty-related issues. This position will be in-house. Position requires critical thinking and technical aptitude for understanding all BOSS Products.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Providing Customers/Distributors with a positive experience.
- Representing BOSS in a timely and professional manner, to positively impact a potential after sale issue.
- Documentation of warranty and non-warranty repairs.
- All warranty teardowns and evaluations.
- Communicating with supplier and customer on warranty evaluations and reimbursement.
- In house service repairs.
- Repair and Document all freight damaged machines.
- Day travel may be required to assist in the repair of equipment. (No Overnight travel) * Assist shipping department by building small assemblies for parts ordered when required.
Qualifications / Competencies / Position Requirements:
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Oral and written communication.
- Self-Motivated, trainable, and eager to learn.
- Computer literate with proficient typing skills.
- Problem Solving and Technical aptitude.
- Demonstrates initiative and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Applicant must be able to analyze and evaluate current processes and look for areas of improvement. JOB DESCRIPTION
- Insurable driving record and active driver’s license. * Position is subject to random drug and alcohol screening.
Education and Experience:
- Requires High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 1 years of air compressor working experience preferred.
- Required Microsoft Office Basic knowledge.
- Sage 100 ERP system experience preferred.
