The Financial Analyst/Accountant will be responsible for analyses of all balance sheets and P&L Accounts, financial planning, Budgeting, Customer Profitability Analysis and various other accounting duties. This role will be cross functional within the Financial Department, working closely with the CFO, Controller, Accounting, as well as Regional Management.

Analyst Duties
- Performs financial analysis and reporting of Company expense and balance sheet accounts.
- Prepare analysis of spending by department or Region.
- Analyze actual labor, material, and overhead cost against budget. Research and explain variances.
- Develop and track Key Indicator Matrices for all functional areas of the company.
- Prepare the company’s weekly forecast.
- Develops and maintains budget monitoring models.
- Assists departments/regions in the preparation of department/region budgets.
- Assist in preparation of operational and cash flow projections.
- Create charts and graphs using computer technology.
- Develop and maintain customer profitability analysis.
- Complete monthly/quarterly bank reporting.
- Assist in company-wide financial statement preparation.
- Assist with the month-end close.
- Analyze accounting records to assess accuracy, completeness and compliance with standards defined within the department and GAAP.
- Perform variance analytics monthly on G/L accounts, communicating results to senior management.
- 5 to 7 years’ work experience in progressive accounting roles, public accounting experience a plus.
- BS/BA in Accounting or Finance required, CPA certification is preferred.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, communication, supervision and leadership skills.
- Strong internal control and process knowledge.
- Performs all work with a high sense for accuracy.
- Expert skills in MS Excel.
- Strong skills in database report writing software, such as MS Access and SSRS.
- Some travel required.

- Office environment with desk at corporate office
- PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) required and must be worn when on yards & jobsite locations:
- Safety Glasses, Hard hats, FR Clothing and other as required by customer.
- Light to moderate physical effort required.
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
- Regularly required to walk, reach, and move about the facility.
- Able to drive a ½ ton vehicle.
- Able to work around hazardous chemicals and in Oil & Gas Operational conditions.
- Ability to be present at field office during denoted work hours, which may be altered occasionally.
- Ability to read, communicate verbally and/or in written form, remember and analyze certain information, instructions, and guidelines.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
