Job Title: Product Manager/ Product Support Engineer
Focus: Product definition, external-facing engineering, and documentation
Job Location: Madera, CA (in person 3 days a week)
Skills Required:
● Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering,
Automotive Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related technical field
● 2–5 years of experience in product management, applications engineering,
technical sales support, product support, or automotive/industrial equipment
engineering
● Working knowledge of vehicle systems and automotive fundamentals, including
mechanical, electrical, and operational aspects of utility or off-road vehicles
● Ability to clearly communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical
stakeholders
● Experience preparing and managing technical documentation, including spec
sheets, user manuals, service documentation, application notes, and product
guides
● Familiarity with RFP responses, compliance/statutory documentation,
homologation support, or technical proposal creation
● Strong written communication skills
● Ability to gather and organize feedback from customers, dealers, service teams,
and internal stakeholders and convert it into actionable product requirements
● Experience supporting product launches, demonstrations, customer
deployments, or dealer onboarding activities
● Strong organizational and project coordination skills with ability to manage
multiple parallel activities and shifting priorities
● Comfortable working cross-functionally with engineering, manufacturing, sales,
service, and leadership teams
● Ability to understand and communicate vehicle specifications, performance
metrics, and product limitations accurately
● Proficiency with standard productivity and documentation tools
● Basic understanding of CAD models, engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, and
technical schematics preferred
● Strong problem-solving mindset with ability to balance customer expectations,engineering constraints, timelines, and business priorities
● Self-driven and comfortable operating in a startup environment with high
ownership and ambiguity
● Willingness to support trade shows, customer visits, field deployments, demo
events, and dealer interactions as needed
Key Responsibilities:
● Own product definition and positioning, including specifications, configurations,
and use-case alignment
● Provide engineering support to sales and marketing, including spec sheets,
customer discussions, and technical presentations
● Lead RFP responses, proposals, and application-specific configurations (e.g.,
attachments, custom setups)
● Support statutory, compliance, and homologation documentation
● Interface with customers and dealers to gather feedback and translate into
product requirements
● Create and maintain product documentation, including manuals, diagnostics
guides, and internal knowledge base
● Act as a bridge between engineering, sales, and field teams to ensure alignment
● Support demo readiness and customer deployments from a product/technical
standpoint
