What are the responsibilities and job description for the aQua Dialysis RN Charge Nurse position at Boson Health?
aQua Dialysis Livingston is seeking a full-time Charge Nurse. We offer an outstanding work environment with a team dedicated to improving the lives of our patients. An ideal candidate has experience as a dialysis charge nurse.
Out facility is open 6 days per week (closed Sundays) and typical hours are 10 hour days with an early shift starting at 4:30am. Full-time is 3-4 days per week with alternate weekends off.

At aQua Dialysis, we know that our nurses have significant impact on the patient's treatment outcomes. First and foremost, the nurses on our team know how to listen, understand, and validate their patient's concerns.
At the dialysis unit, the charge nurse will assess patient needs, respond to dialysis treatments, and communicate concerns to the rounding physician. Also, they will implement changes in patient care/treatment as directed. The nurse communicates with the physician and other members of the healthcare team to interpret, adjust, and complete patient care plans. They provide safe, effective delivery of patient care in compliance with standards outlined in the facility policy and procedure, as well as regulations set forth by the company, state, and federal agencies.
As a leader, the charge nurse maintains overall shift operation in a safe, efficient, and effective matter. They monitor and supervise all patient care activity during dialysis and assist as necessary. Also, they ensure educational needs of patients are met and educate the patient and family about End Stage Renal Disease, dialysis therapy, diet and medication.
Current Texas RN license and CPR required.
