Overall Responsibilities:

This position is responsible for helping to ensure the upkeep, general maintenance, and repair of Bosma property, equipment, and grounds. The employee will also be required to assist with any driving needs of the department.

Education and Experience:

High School Diploma, GED or equivalent. Minimum of two years' experience in maintenance and repairs of buildings or equipment. Must have minimal experience in plumbing repair, roof repair, drywall, painting, and a working knowledge of electrical systems. Must possess a valid driver's license with a For-Hire endorsement or Indiana Chauffeur's license and have a good driving record. The incumbent will be required to complete CPR/First Aid certification.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Perform preventive maintenance on buildings, grounds, and equipment.
  • Perform maintenance duties as assigned via the Work Order Facilities program in Salesforce.
  • Perform minor maintenance repairs to grounds, buildings, and equipment. (Ceiling tiles, paint, plumbing, electric, etc.)
  • Perform snow and ice removal from traveled walkways and exterior gathering areas during inclement weather.
  • Assist with landscaping projects. (Flowers, mulch, trimming bushes, etc.)
  • Perform routine maintenance on conveyors and feeder lines.
  • Work cooperatively with all staff to fulfill Bosma Enterprises' philosophy, mission, and goals.
  • Conduct all work activities in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Maintain confidentiality regarding matters pertaining to and about Bosma Enterprises, its employees, clients, and business associates.
  • Comply with safety regulations and maintain a clean and orderly work area
  • Detect faulty operations and defective equipment and report those areas to the proper supervisor
  • Assist with the transportation needs of clients, guests, and employees as needed.
  • Make box truck runs when needed.
  • Assist with construction projects within the Bosma facilities.
  • Assist with Day of Caring projects.
  • Make deliveries between buildings and other organizations when needed.
  • Complete monthly inspections on all fire extinguishers.
  • Assist with incoming and outgoing mail at both facilities.
  • Pick up supplies from vendors.
  • Complete all other tasks or duties as assigned by the Facilities Manager and/or the Facilities Supervisor.
