The Product Planning, Delivery, and Engineering Operations (PPDEO) group is accountable to define and implement the delivery plans for all new product programs against stated business objectives, from vision alignment through launch. We are responsible for establishing and refining the tools and core processes that drive and govern new product development and our engagement with contract manufacturers!
We are looking for a business analyst to join our PPDEO team focusing specifically on the tools, core processes, and operational strategies relating to the engagement with our contract manufacturers (CMs). In this role, you would coordinate activities and consolidate input for our CM requests for quote (RFQs), statements of work (SOW), sourcing decision discussions, quarterly business review (QBR) dashboards, scorecards, and action tracking. Additionally, you will help to develop, define, and deploy improved operational strategies relating to our Bose/CM partnerships to ultimately increase the efficiency, productivity, and effectiveness of our global research and development organization and product development processes.
Responsibilities:
- Able to synthesize business goals and strategies into practical CM partnership development.
- Align activities, consolidate input, and contribute to CM RFQs and work with our Global Supply Management (GSM) organization to drive operational consistency and improvements in the RFQ process.
- Align activities, consolidate input, and chip in to CM SOWs and work with our Global Supply Management (GSM) drive operational consistency and improvements in the SOW process.
- Find opportunities and improvements in Global R&D operational strategies, specifically related to how we engage and work with our contract manufacturers.
- Support ongoing operational initiatives to define, optimize, and better implement product development withing GRD and product introduction with our CMs.
Qualifications:
- Preferably, 5-10 years of experience in a product development environment – either directly on product development teams or in a support role to them. Understanding of Bose NPDP process and customers is desirable.
- Experience working and improving processes in a CM or large supplier environment.
- Proven track record to build strong business process from architecture to implementation aligned to a fast paced, agile environment. Able to work across functional silos to provide solutions that drive optimal benefit for the business.
- Validated ability and track record to focus and align teams and consolidate and converge data and analytics.
- Deep technical and interpersonal skills (verbal and written), influence, and leadership skills a must
- Strong customer orientation and high service levels
- Strong presentations skills and oral and written communication skills to various audience levels and types.
Education:
- Technical Degree desired, BSME or MSEE most preferred
Salary : $112,000 - $142,000
