We’re looking for an experienced engineer to lead the design and development of audio features for Android-based platforms. You will define architecture, guide technical decisions, and ensure high-quality audio performance for next-generation devices, including AR/VR and gaming products.

Job Description
About the Role
We’re looking for an experienced engineer to lead the design and development of audio features for Android-based platforms. You will define architecture, guide technical decisions, and ensure high-quality audio performance for next-generation devices, including AR/VR and gaming products.
Responsibilities
- Lead audio software projects and set technical direction.
- Design and evolve Android audio architecture for new features.
- Develop and optimize audio components for low-latency and immersive sound.
- Collaborate with hardware and DSP teams to ensure robust performance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve audio issues across system layers.
- Stay up to date with Android platform changes and integrate new capabilities.
- Strong programming skills in C/C
- Experience with Android audio frameworks (Audioflinger, Audio HAL or similar)
- Knowledge of audio signal processing and DSP integration.
- Ability to debug and profile audio performance.
- Familiarity with Bluetooth audio and codecs
- Clear technical leadership and roadmap for Android audio development.
- Reliable, low-latency audio performance under demanding conditions.
- Seamless integration of new audio features across devices.

Salary : $142,600 - $196,000
