Job Description
The Territory Product Manager (E3/E4) for Consumer Goods (Braking, Filters, Rotating Machine) role involves analyzing customers and competitors to inform business strategy and value proposition by territory. As an expert in the market and competitive landscape, you will identify and support growth opportunities, traveling up to 60% primarily domestically.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement territory product strategy to achieve aggressive sales targets and market growth. Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand market share.
- Gather customer-specific requirements during customer visits and understand their business model and needs. Develop comprehensive distribution analysis/market landscape to identify key business prospects.
- Provide insights and recommendations to internal product development and marketing teams based on market analysis and customer input.
- Closely collaborate with marketing and sales to develop and execute sales strategies and promotional campaigns. Provide input and assist in preparing sales proposals and presentations.
- Ensure internal stakeholders are up-to-date on customer needs and required value proposition, considering market and competitive trends.
- Serve as primary product expert, providing in-depth knowledge to internal and external stakeholders, including conducting product demonstrations and training sessions to enhance product knowledge and sales efficiency.
- Execute the launch of new products/programs and promotions into the market, including sell-through communication. Ensure all stakeholders are executing new product/program launches according to the launch plan in line with customer expectations.
- In close alignment with the sales team, build and maintain strong relationships with customers. Address customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly to ensure benchmark-level customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required
- 3-7 years experience in sales/marketing role in the automotive industry
- Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively in a team
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills at all levels of an organization
- Entrepreneurial mindset and drive, results-oriented
- Ability to work with and lead diverse groups to task completion
- Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Customer focus and orientation, service provider attitude
- Ability and willingness to travel, primarily domestically (up to 60%)
- High degree of self-discipline, motivation, professionalism, and accountability
- Being a positive ambassador of the company and strong continuous improvement mindset
