Job Description


This role is hybrid remote with 40% monthly in-office presence in Mount Prospect, Illinois. (2-3 days in office per week)

The Brand Manager leads the strategic positioning of their specific business category for Bosch Power Tools in North America (US & Canada) from upstream innovation concepting to downstream product launch and market presence. This role drives the regional localization of brand strategy and activities informed by the consumer journey, including product positioning, messaging, claims and go-to-market activities. The role delivers the brand story aligned with the global brand positioning to differentiate the products in market and drive demand and preference for Bosch products. The Brand Manager works closely with central and regional business units, consumer insights, brand and integrated marketing, digital, and sales to deliver fully formed plans across touchpoints.

This role is hybrid remote with 40% in-office presence in Mount Prospect, Illinois.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead assigned area positioning and marketing concepts, messaging and claims strategy
  • Lead launch planning and go-to-market activities for assigned area
  • Partner with brand and integrated marketing teams to consistently represent product positioning and key marketing messages in paid, earned and owned channels
  • Partner with digital marketing team to create cohesive user journeys between paid, earned and owned touchpoints

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree with 3-5 years of experience is preferred
  • Demonstrated success with concept writing and product positioning, claims development
  • Familiarity with product development and innovation from a marketing seat
  • Experience with internal or external creative agency management
  • Experience with consumer research practices
  • Demonstrated success leading complex, cross-functional projects from a marketing seat
  • Demonstrated success with content development and touchpoint
  • Demonstrated consumer-first mindset and data-based decision making
  • Ability to problem solve, bias for results, and strong communication skills
  • Ability to influence cross-functional decisions and work across a complex organization
  • Familiarity with business-driving integrated marketing and media campaign management, including tracking, data-based optimizations, and test & learn plans
  • Familiarity with commercial retailer relationships from a marketing seat
  • Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen
