About the Role
At Bosa Properties, Project Management partners with various stakeholders to set and maintain standards for the highest quality execution of real estate projects and corporate initiatives. Our projects range from marquee high-rises in downtown Vancouver and master-planned communities in Squamish, to enterprise systems implementations. Our company is composed of various entities in Real Estate Development, Construction, Property Management, and a host of other industries ranging from retail and hospitality to tech start-ups and industrial service.
Bosa Properties is looking for a Project Manager to join our team of talented real estate professionals. Reporting directly to the Senior Director, Project Management, the Project Manager will have a unique opportunity to plan, oversee and lead projects from ideation to completion, and ensure each project is delivered with excellence, on-time and on-budget.
What you'll Do:
- Coordination of internal and external resources to ensure flawless execution of projects;
- Developing a detailed project schedule to monitor and track progress;
- Creating a complete project budget to reconcile against ROI;
- Managing changes to the project scope, project schedule and project budget through effective stakeholder management strategies;
- Utilizing project management technology and software to support task management and delivery;
- Communicating the status of all projects at a strategic level, and escalating where there are critical dependencies or cross-functional conflicts;
- Maintaining the project management systems and tools required to support the successful delivery of both real estate development and corporate projects;
- Managing the relationship with all stakeholders providing necessary support, coaching, motivation and inspiration;
- Identifying risks and recognizing necessary changes in order to manage them effectively
- Establishing and maintaining relationships with third party vendors and contractors as required
- Creating and maintaining comprehensive project documentation including, but not limited to, project charter, project schedule, WBS, meeting hygiene, status reports, change control, issue/risk log, post mortem, etc.;
- Reinforcing project management processes (including prioritization, governance and data-driven decision making) across the business to help increase awareness and adoption while proactively seeking opportunities for improvement.
What you Bring
- Eight (8) years of project management experience across multiple projects;
- Excellent change-management and leadership ability, reflected through professional experience in environments that have undergone transformation;
- Proven track record of delivering projects on time and ability to adjust project plans to accommodate new priorities or opportunities;
- Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams by fostering relationships and adapting approach to different perspectives;
- Ability to use critical analysis to solve problems and achieve goals;
- Proficiency with a project management software;
- Formal Project Management or Business Training and/or certification (PMP, ITIL, Scrum/Agile/Kanban) would be considered an asset.
