Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces meticulously by cleaning, sanding, plastering, caulking, and applying primer to ensure optimal paint adhesion.
- Execute precise painting using hand tools, power tools, airless paint spraying equipment, and other methods suited for residential, commercial, or industrial projects.
- Read blueprints and schematics to interpret project specifications accurately for color matching and detailed finishes.
- Apply various coatings such as stucco, masonry paint, industrial paints, or restoration finishes while adhering to safety protocols.
- Install fixtures, trim carpentry, and perform renovation tasks including drywall installation and framing as needed.
- Utilize construction estimating skills to assess project scope and materials requirements efficiently.
- Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and disposing of waste responsibly throughout each project phase.
Requirements
- Willingness to work hard, follow instructions and read task sheets.
- Willingness to use sprayers and other tools.
- Willingness to work outside in the summer.
- Willingness to work high up on ladders.
- Willingness to follow safety procedures and follow work site regulations.
- Problem solving skills are always a plus - be communicative and if you don't know, ask!
- Familiarity with painting, construction and outdoor work is a great bonus!
Pay: $17.00 - $21.00 per hour
