Red Hill Borough, Montgomery County PA, is accepting applications for the position of Public Works Laborer.
This position entails construction, contracting, maintenance, repair, and upkeep for various labor projects within the Borough and driving various vehicles in performing duties including winter maintenance, grounds keeping, general maintenance, and repair.
Job Responsibilities
Performs a variety of routine and complex tasks in construction, contracting, maintenance, repair and upkeep for various labor projects within the Borough and drives a variety of vehicles in the performance of duties including winter maintenance, grounds keeping, maintenance and repair. This position requires work to be done in person and on site. The hours will be Monday through Friday 7am to 3pm. When required be available to plow.
Qualifications
Experience in the construction trade, specifically operating heavy equipment, installing pipe, and plowing snow. Municipal experience preferred. Also, two years’ experience driving a large dump truck is desired. High school diploma or equivalent. The position requires a background check and drug testing. Satisfactory Pennsylvania PA Criminal Background Check
