Overview:
Florham Park Sewer Utility is seeking a Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator to operate and maintain its wastewater treatment facility. Operators maintain records, collect samples, operate treatment plant equipment, perform routine maintenance, and operate equipment. Candidate must possess or be able to obtain a Class B CDL with a tanker endorsement within 120 days of hire. This position requires being on call and working weekends, holidays, and emergency overtime as needed. The ideal candidate must work well in a team environment, have strong communication skills, be able to lift up to 50lbs. and work in all weather conditions, work comfortably in confined spaces, pass pre-employment drug testing, and possess a high school diploma or equivalent. Candidate must be available for over time and weekend work on a rotating schedule; candidate must reside within 45 minutes of Florham Park.
