Boro Park Ob/Gyn, the largest private Ob/Gyn group practice in the tri-state NY area, is seeking a medical assistant /phlebotomist. Applicant must have 1-2 years experience.
Our four locations in Brooklyn, NY, are affiliated with Maimonides Medical Center.
Job Responsibilities
- intake, reviewing & updating medical history
- Takes vital signs, assists with procedures such as, colposcopies, Leeps, biopsies, IUD insertions & Nexplanons.
- Must be proficient in phlebotomy
- Must be able to work from 9:30am to 7:00pm or until the last patient is out.
- The candidate will need excellent communication skills in the English language.
Job Requirements:
- Must have a Medical Assistant certificate
- Must have Phlebotomy certificate
- Must have excellent English language speaking and comprehension skills
- Must be a team player
- Must have excellent data entry skills
