Job Overview
This role oversees the company's cross-border import and export operations, including customs clearance coordination, international logistics arrangements, and compliance documentation. Additionally, you will handle local procurement in the U.S., develop and maintain local supplier relationships, and ensure timely material supply with cost efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end import/export processes, including booking, customs documentation, HS code classification, and coordination with customs brokers to ensure smooth customs clearance.
- Track international shipments, coordinate with shipping lines/forwarders to resolve issues (e.g., delays, inspections).
- Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with U.S. local suppliers; execute purchase orders and monitor delivery schedules.
- Maintain procurement and logistics data in the ERP system; prepare regular cost analysis and supplier performance reports.
- Monitor international trade policies (e.g., tariff changes) and U.S. local compliance requirements, providing proactive recommendations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or above in International Trade, Logistics, Supply Chain, or related fields.
- 3 years of hands-on import/export experience, familiar with U.S. import/export regulations and ISF filing procedures.
- Solid knowledge of international logistics, capable of handling ocean/air freight bookings and documentation.
- Prior U.S. local procurement experience preferred; knowledge of mechanical/manufacturing materials is a plus.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and ERP systems.
- Hold valid U.S. work authorization; willing to travel occasionally (e.g., supplier visits).
Pay: $65,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
