SENIOR DESIGNER

NEW YORK CITY, USA (Hybrid Working - 3 days in the office per week)

A benchmarked salary between $105,000 to $115,000 based on your level within our progression framework. Where an employee or prospective employee is paid within this range will depend on, among other factors, actual ranges for current/former employees in the subject position, market considerations, budgetary considerations, tenure and standing with the Company (applicable to current employees), as well as the employee’s/applicant’s skill set, level of experience, and qualifications.

We're looking for our first Senior Designer in the US to lead design output across projects, delivering award-worthy, innovative work and representing design craft and expertise to build trusted client relationships. You'll work closely with our established Design team of 20 people in the UK to deliver for clients, benefitting from their skills, experience and creative firepower.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

• You'll lead the design process across multiple briefs, ensuring creative excellence and strategic alignment. Delivering industry-leading, crafted design assets that deliver on brief, ensuring consistency with brand and campaign direction and that demonstrate the highest level of attention to detail and social-first platform expertise.
• You'll act as a client-facing design lead, articulating creative rationale confidently.
• You'll collaborate with Creative, Strategy, and Production to deliver integrated, visually consistent social-first campaigns and client satisfaction
• As we scale you'll eventually lead, coach and mentor junior and midweight designers in developing strong delivery skills, modeling best practice, and contributing to a positive, inclusive team environment

WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• You're a talented Senior designer, comfortable with motion and static with 4 years of experience (agency or in-house)
• You live and breathe social, know how to create social-first assets, and want to work on a variety of different brands across all sectors
• You're capable of taking strategy and executing it in social-first, show-stopping ways, with a keen eye for detail and intrigue.
• You're craft-obsessed and have an advanced technical understanding of the principles and how to apply them to the latest trends and innovations, as well as skills in editing and crafting narrative-driven work
• Adobe Suite is your bread and butter (particularly After Effects, Premiere Pro, Photoshop, and Illustrator). Experience in Red Giant and Cinema 4D or equivalent are a bonus!
• You’re a self-driven problem solver with initiative, and you are proactive in navigating challenges and taking pride and ownership in your work, quality, and delivery.
• You’re an excellent communicator who can manage expectations and flag or anticipate potential challenges early on.
• You're comfortable managing multiple tasks within a fast-paced environment where deadlines land simultaneously.

Standard working hours are from 9.00am to 5.30pm, there’s flexibility if agreed in advance with your line managers (it will also be necessary on occasions to work outside of these hours).
