What are the responsibilities and job description for the CNC Operator position at Borla Performance Industries Inc.?
Assist in the set-up and safe operation of CNC Equipment
Responsibilities include:
- Set up and operation of CNC Lathes
- Prepare raw material for production
- Production and Inspection of quality parts per drawings and or samples on various equipment and machinery
- Ensure the safety, quality, efficiency and housekeeping standards are maintained at all times
- Miscellaneous duties as required
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of previous experience as a CNC Operator or related type field
- Must be able to read and understand blueprints
- Ability to perform own set-ups and understand associated tooling
- Ability to use various measuring tools which includes but is not limited to micrometer and calipers
- Familiar with G-code and M-code for reference in CNC operation
- Strong working knowledge of CNC machinery and processes
- Intuitive programming and/or ability to edit program at the machine
- Manual machining experience is a plus
