We are currently hiring a full-time Custodian/Janitorial to join our growing team and support our operation and customer needs on 1st shift.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing or vacuuming them.
• Dust furniture, walls, machine, equipment, etc., and tends to the common areas on a regular basis.
• Service, clean and supply restrooms.
• Clean windows, glass items and mirrors, using cleaners, sponges and squeegees.
• Empty trash.
• Clean carpets as requested.
• Strip, seal, finish and polish floors as requested.
• Notify manager concerning the need for repairs to building operating systems.
• Remove snow from sidewalks, parking areas utilizing snow shovels and spread snow melting chemicals.
• Requisition supplies and equipment needed for cleaning duties.
• Set up and aid in the arrangement of tables, chairs, to prepare facilities for events such as meetings and celebrations as needed.
• Aid in the clean-up process following company events.
• Mix water and detergents in containers to prepare cleaning solutions according to specifications.
• Safely operate trash and cardboard compactors
• Comply and support company quality policies and procedures.

· Miscellaneous duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 1-2 years prior experience.
• Ability to operate floor scrubber, riding sweeper, floor buffer and carpet shampoo machine
• Ability to operate standup Cushman TUGGER
• Self motivated and excellent time management skills to ensure the completion of the required tasks within the allotted time.
• Reliable and dependable and able to work assigned shift and overtime as requested.
• Basic understanding and comprehension of the English language, both written and spoken.
• Ability to communicate in a professional manner to management representatives, co-workers and peers on a regular basis.
• The ability to stand, bend, twist, stretch, push, pull and reach continuously for an 8 hour shift.
• General safety experience and safe working practices.
• Ability to wear required Personal Protective Equipment for the task being performed
• The ability to lift up to 30 lbs. unassisted.

Pay: $13.10 - $14.00 per hour
