What are the responsibilities and job description for the DCA Administrator position at Boring Business Systems?
The primary purpose of this Help Desk role is to provide proactive support to our customers by managing various DCA programs. These programs monitor customer equipment to ensure timely meter readings and proactive supply and consumable alerts. The goal is to have every customer's device enrolled and actively monitored by a DCA program. This position also involves collaborating with the Contract Department to resolve billing, meter, and supply issues, and serving as a backup for Supplies as needed.
Key Responsibilities
DCA Management:
- Monitor stale DCA sites and equipment to resolve issues affecting equipment monitoring.
- Remove and unregister equipment from DCA programs that customers no longer possess.
- Set up and coordinate the installation of DCA programs at customer locations.
- Work with customers and other departments to resolve issues hindering DCA installations.
ATR Program:
- Collaborate with the Sales Department to coordinate new equipment additions to the ATR program.
- Analyze customer fleets to qualify them for the ATR program.
- Resolve issues to help customers qualify for the ATR program.
Support Other Departments:
- Respond to requests from the Sales Department.
- Update the system with information provided by the Service Department.
Boring Life:

Qualifications & Experience
Must Have:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel (at least 1 year)
- Customer service mindset with excellent communication skills (1-2 years of experience)
- Technical skills (1-2 years of experience)
- Excellent time management and self-motivation
- High attention to detail
- Exceptional organizational skills
Physical Requirements
- Ability to sit for extended periods, walk, and stand as needed.
- Occasionally lift or move equipment weighing 25 lbs or more.
- Strong hand-eye coordination for typing and writing.
- Ability to read fine print and digital screens.
- Clear verbal communication skills for client interactions.
