What are the responsibilities and job description for the Metal Building Sales Representative position at BORGA Steel Buildings and Components?
BORGA Steel is hiring due to strong growth in our metal building and structure business. We are looking for Metal Building Sales Representatives to join our growing team. This is an excellent inside sales opportunity in the growing Metal Building Industry!
What you will do as a Metal Building Sales Representative:
- Responsible for direct sales activity.
- Respond to inbound inquiries from potential customers.
- Prepare quotes based on customer needs using engineering design software.
- Use project knowledge to educate and assist customers through the metal building design process.
- Follow up on open customer quotes.
- Conduct outbound prospecting activities to build your book of business.
- Expand your database of prospects within your assigned territory.
- Work with Sales Management to define and develop territory to increase new and existing sales.
- Use CRM to track all individual sales activities.
- Conduct manufacturing facility tours at our 90,000 sq ft. manufacturing facility in Fowler, CA.
- Attend tradeshows, conduct client meetings, and partner with Marketing to develop digital marketing content.
- Close sales and achieve monthly sales quotas.
- Other duties as assigned.
What we are looking for:
- 3 years of relevant experience in high-level customer service, sales or related disciplines.
- Must be comfortable making dozens of calls per day, generating interest, qualifying leads and closing sales.
- Self-motivated, assertive, and have the ability to work independently.
- Excellent verbal communication skills and strong phone presence.
- Strong listening and presentation skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Working knowledge of computers and office software.
- Personal integrity.

Compensation: Base pay starts at $55,000 DOE, PLUS commission and bonuses!
