Borenstein Caterers is looking for a fulltime Production Supervisor who is responsible for managing and coordinating all production activities related to client meal orders to ensure timely, accurate, and compliant flight releases and deliveries. This role oversees order processing, interdepartmental coordination across kitchen areas, setup operations, staffing, and equipment allocation. The Supervisor ensures food safety standards are maintained, schedules and resources are aligned with flight and delivery demands, and all documentation and system updates are completed accurately to support efficient, on-time operations.
Responsible for the following:
- Receive and process orders for packing of clients' meals both fresh and frozen.
- Coordinate all products and food items needed for Setup. Make sure Cold Kitchen; Hot Kitchen & Bakery are synchronized with belt activity.
- Supervise all activity to make sure flight is released on time and with no problems, and all 3rd Party deliveries are ready to go on time with the correct products.
- Oversee and coordinate supply of equipment for setup at belt and 3rd party from equipment dept. (31) including but not limited to trays, disposable equipment & labels.
- Plan and coordinate all supplies for clients' flights according to updated orders from stations and meal robot system. Update Inflair with all info and use all relevant forms to communicate all counts and specials, close the flight, and release LSG truck.
- Plan and coordinate fresh and frozen delivery schedule according to order schedule and availability.
- Plan and coordinate work schedule according to flights and order schedules and Operations Manager requirements.
- Allocate personnel to sub departments according to ad hock needs.
- Oversee the transfer of food to and from setup area to minimize time food stays out without refrigeration.
- Oversee trolley traffic from refrigerators to setup and back. Make sure all trolley return to refrigerators as soon as possible.
- Follow HACCP rules concerning temperature of food, and maintaining a record of all temperature measurements.
- Follow manager’s instructions and company procedures.
Scheduling Requirements:
Candidate must be available to work a flexible schedule Sunday to Friday, 6 days a week.
Initial training will be scheduled from 06:00 am - 2:00pm, followed by an assigned shift of 12:00 pm – 8:00 pm.

Ideal Candidate has the Following Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in airline catering, food production, or large-scale meal assembly operations.
- Proficient in scheduling software and Microsoft Office Suite

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in a highly regulated environment (airline catering, food production, or similar)
- Familiarity with warehousing, or sanitation operations
- Certification in inventory management or supply chain practice
- Practical knowledge and hands-on experience with HACCP standards, including temperature controls and food-safety documentation.
- Experience managing refrigerated food flow to minimize time out of temperature-controlled environments.
- Comfortable preparing production records, temperature logs, counts, specials, and delivery documentation.
- Experience coordinating equipment, trolleys, labels, and disposables for high-volume production lines.
