We provide a unique experience with domed igloo-shaped rooms, with a clear ceiling for viewing the aurora from the comfort of your room. We provide extensive on-site activities, including snow machine tours, dog sledding, reindeer adventures, and helicopter tours. In addition to hotel guests, we offer day tours from Fairbanks through our Basecamp Adventures brand.

Laundry Attendant:
Washing, drying & folding linens
Inventory of linens & cleaning supplies,
Keeping laundry & storage area clean & orderly.
Housekeeper:
Cleaning main guest area, appliances, counters & dishes, bathroom to include shower, sink & toilet, restocking amenities, taking out trash, sweeping & mopping floors.
Cleaning accommodations to Borealis Basecamp standards
Meet and exceed guests needs and expectations
Any & all other duties as assigned
Job Requirements:
Ability to communicate with staff & guests in a professional manner.
Willing to work flexible schedule.
High school diploma/GED. Previous experience preferred.
Able to lift, rotate, and place 50 lbs.
Willingness to work in the outdoors in the Arctic climate is crucial while having the ability to negotiate uneven terrain in low light.
Ability to work on feet for up to 8 hours a day.
For all positions at Borealis Basecamp, each and every team member must be willing to help team members out of their regular department.
Must be able to hold a conversation with a stranger for several minutes.

End of Season Bonus: A $1.50 per hour bonus is paid for every hour worked through the season to staff that finish the season. End of season bonus is NOT paid to staff that leave prior to the end of season date of April 12th.
Housing: Onsite staff housing is available at $10.5 per month. Each room is double or triple occupancy. Common areas with TV, Wifi, computers, dining area, and exercise space. Private bathrooms & laundry facilities. We have a staff chef that prepares lunch & dinner, with breakfast being a self serve continental breakfast of oatmeal, cereal, fruits, etc.
