About the Position
Border Security and Investigations is a premier provider of professional security services, dedicated to safeguarding our clients' personnel and assets. We are currently seeking highly trained, vigilant, and reliable Level 3 Security Officers to join our Corpus Christi team.
In this role, you will be the first line of defense at our client’s site, responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who operates well independently and as part of a structured team, bringing a strong understanding of security protocols and a commitment to excellence.
What You'll Do
- Patrol & Secure: Conduct thorough regular foot and vehicle patrols of the property to deter, detect, and prevent intrusion, ensuring all access points (doors, windows, gates) are secure.
- Monitor & Control: Operate surveillance systems and alarms, and manage access control by verifying identification and authorizing entry to the facility.
- Respond & Act: React to alarms, emergencies, and security breaches swiftly and professionally.
- Document & Report: Draft highly detailed, accurate daily activity logs and incident reports.
- Enforce & Engage: Enforce client and company policies while maintaining a courteous, professional demeanor when interacting with clients, employees, and the general public.
What You Need (Requirements)
- Licensing: Must possess an active Texas Level 3 Security Officer License (L3 Card) in hand.
- Equipment: Must own and be highly proficient with a duty weapon.
- Uniform: Must provide your own khaki pants and black boots (Company shirt/patches will be provided).
- Age & Background: Must be at least 18 years old with a clean criminal record.
- Transportation: Must have a reliable personal vehicle and a valid driver's license.
- Availability: Must be able to work 12-hour night shifts (6:00 PM - 6:00 AM), including weekends and holidays as needed.
- Physicality & Skills: Must have excellent situational awareness, strong communication skills, and the physical ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods.
