Bartender Wanted

Border Cafe in Saugus is looking for a qualified Bartender to join our growing team to meet the demands of our fast past, fully operational, full service restaurant. Border Cafe is a staple of the restaurant scene and has been recognized for multiple awards and recognition for quality in food and service. We are continuing to grow daily, weekly, and monthly after getting the doors open to our loyal customers. Job Duties include but are not limited to:

• Provide excellent customer services
• Greet customers and present menus
• Make suggestions based on their preferences
• Take and serve food/drinks orders
• Keep bar clean and tidy at all times
• Deliver checks and collect payments
• Communicate with all serving and kitchen staff
• Adhere to all relevant health department rules/regulations and all customer service guidelines

Qualifications for the ideal candidate would include the following traits but not limited:

• Experience as a Restaurant Bartender
• Experience with any ordering information system
• Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
• Team player
• Good time-management skills
• Great interpersonal and communication skills
• Active listening
• Excellent physical condition
• Customer-centric
• High school diploma; food safety training will be considered a plus

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $35.00 per hour TIPS

Schedule:

• 7-8 hour shift
• Day shift & NIght Shifts
• Holidays
• Open 7 Days
• Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Saugus, MA: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

• Restaurant experience: at least 1 year Bartending (Preferred)
