JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead and supervise all maintenance activities, including mechanical and electrical diagnostics, production line repairs, and minor building/plumbing fixes
- Establish performance benchmarks and drive continuous improvement across the maintenance department
- Ensure all machinery and equipment meet operational and safety standards
- Develop and implement standardized maintenance procedures that promote consistency and cross-functional collaboration
- Conduct routine facility inspections to identify and resolve issues proactively
- Plan and oversee repair schedules, installations, and cost evaluations
- Enforce safety protocols and ensure team compliance with company policies
- Manage inventory of tools, parts, and supplies; place orders as needed
- Maintain accurate maintenance logs, daily progress reports, and budget tracking
- Support food safety and quality assurance by preventing equipment-related risks
- Track expenses and oversee the budget for maintenance
QUALIFICATIONS
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Facility Management, or related field preferred
- Minimum 5 years of experience in maintenance, with at least 2 years in a leadership role
- Proven experience applying Continuous Improvement methodologies
- Strong technical knowledge of plumbing, carpentry, electrical systems, and industrial machinery
- Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills
- Ability to think creatively and challenge conventional approaches to problem-solving
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Extended periods in cold, damp environments
- Occasional exposure to airborne particles, fumes, or caustic chemicals
- Must be able to frequently stand, walk, kneel, reach, climb, pull, and bend.
- Must be able to work for extended periods in a cold, damp environment.
