As a network exploitation professional, you know that understanding the adversaries’ tactics, techniques, and procedures are crucial to producing the intel that enables the success of mission owners. At Booz Allen, you can apply your vulnerability analysis, network mapping, exploitation, defensive, and IT logging process experience to execute offensive cyber operations that inform our nation’s most critical security missions.

On our team, you’ll be trusted to probe targets using the latest network-based analysis tools like Wireshark, XKEYSCORE, DataXplorer, Splunk, and other network analysis tools. Using your innate curiosity and technical expertise, you’ll use available information to select attack vectors and match attack vectors to tools, capabilities, and mission intent. You’ll guide government and law enforcement agencies by leveraging SIGINT combined with a variety of other disciplines to gain access and perform actions on the targeted network as required.

In this role, you’ll uncover previously unknown and emerging adversary capabilities that impact drive mission forward for a very demanding - and rewarding - customer. You Have:

• 5 years of experience executing network exploitation or analysis in support of cyber operations

• 5 years of experience working with multiple client in the Intelligence Community (IC), including collaborating and deconflicting with those client to ensure successful mission outcomes

• 5 years of experience with network analysis tools, such as XKEYSCORE or DataXplorer

• Knowledge of modern network operations center systems, IT infrastructure, cloud and data center systems

• Ability to identify operational opportunities within systems and networks

• Ability to write fingerprints, understand network traffic signatures, and leverage these concepts to drive mission success

• TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Forensics

Nice If You Have:

• Knowledge of the OSI stack, with specific expertise in layers 3-7

• Knowledge of telecommunications technologies and protocols

• Ability to teach and mentor junior analysts in telecommunications and networking fundamentals

• Master's degree in Telecommunications, Networking, or related field

Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $99,000.00 to $225,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
