Explosive Hazard, Counter Improvised Explosive Device, and Counter-Unmanned Aircraft System Integrator and Trainer, Mid
Key Role:
Plan, synchronize, coordinate, and facilitate live, virtual, constructive, and gaming Explosive Hazard (EH), Counter Improvised Explosive Device (C-IED), and Counter-Unmanned Aircraft System (C-UAS) training to support individual and collective training requirements at home station and abroad for US service members. Apply training expertise to supporting command exercise requirements for EH and C-UAS engagements with allies and partners. Employ available training capabilities via an integrated and active learning approach to optimize support. Integrate the latest threat updates into training products and mentor units to create realistic training environments. Engage at all levels of command to understand mission requirements and convey the importance of training on irregular and emergent threats as part of a comprehensive training plan. Assist with the analysis of and collaborate on ways to counter threats with equipment, methodologies, and various mounted and dismounted tactics, techniques, and procedures. Prepare and share written after action observations and recommendations on specialized and tailored EH/C-IED/C-UAS education and training, including electronic warfare (EW), biometrics, homemade explosives (HME), site exploitation, handheld detectors (HHD), intelligence support, and route clearance.
Basic Qualifications:
-6 years of experience as a military instructor or trainer
-Experience with conducting After Action Reviews (AAR) and producing written reports and evaluations
-Experience with using Microsoft Office Suite, including PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
-Knowledge of C-IED or C-UAS principles and application
-Knowledge of C-IED or C-UAS equipment and integration into operations
-Secret clearance
-HS diploma or GED
-Ability to certify as a training facilitator via a Booz Allen approved program within 6 months of hire
Additional Qualifications:
-Experience with Unmanned Aircraft Systems
-Experience with Electronic Warfare
-Experience with Site Exploitation
-Experience at the tactical level deployed in combat as part of unit or in a combat advisor role
-Experience at E-7 military rank or above
-Experience with integrating live, virtual, constructive, and gaming warfighting training
-Experience as an Observer Controller (OC)
-BA or BS degree
-Completion of a foundational instructor or facilitator course, including the US Army Training and Doctrine Command (TRADOC), Common Faculty Development Instructor Course, or equivalent for sister service or Association for Talent Development (ATD) Master Trainer
-PMP certification
