Role Description
This is a volunteer, in person role for a Board Member of the Boots To Health Foundation. Board Members will support strategic planning, participate in regular meetings, and provide guidance on fundraising, governance, and community engagement initiatives. They will help monitor organizational performance, advocate for the Foundation’s mission, and assist in fostering partnerships with stakeholders and donors to enhance available services for Veterans.
Qualifications
- Proven leadership skills and experience serving on boards or in strategic advisory roles
- Expertise in areas such as nonprofit management, fundraising, and community outreach
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage with stakeholders and advocate effectively
- Knowledge of Veterans’ issues and/or expertise in fields like healthcare, mental health, counseling, or wellness is highly advantageous
- Commitment to advancing the mission of the organization and supporting Veterans' health and well-being
