Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a wide selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair
- Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to enhance their overall experience
- Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for accurate order processing and cash handling
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety standards
- Handle cash transactions efficiently, ensuring accurate cashiering and retail math calculations
- Monitor alcohol consumption responsibly and adhere to all food safety and liquor laws
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate serving food during events like banquets or catering functions
- Manage time effectively during busy hours to serve multiple guests promptly without compromising quality
- Support the team in maintaining a lively, safe environment in nightclubs or other entertainment venues
Skills
- Proven experience in food service or hospitality, especially in fine dining, nightclub, or banquet settings
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for seamless order processing
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to connect positively with diverse guests
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during peak hours
- Knowledge of food handling, food safety protocols, and proper beverage serving techniques
- Ability to perform basic math for cash handling, retail math calculations, and billing accuracy
- Experience with catering or large event service is a plus
- Knowledge of brewing processes or beverage preparation techniques is advantageous
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and special events
