Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic options, ensuring consistency and quality.
- Engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner to promote a welcoming atmosphere.
- Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing, billing, and cash handling with accuracy.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety standards and sanitation regulations.
- Handle cash transactions efficiently, including cashiering duties and basic math calculations for change and totals.
- Monitor guest consumption responsibly, adhering to alcohol service laws and policies.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff during food service or catering events to ensure seamless delivery of food and beverages.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a bartender in fine dining, nightclub, or banquet settings is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for efficient order entry and payment processing.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders during busy periods without compromising quality or service speed.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and professionally.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures.
- Experience with retail math, cash handling, and basic math skills necessary for accurate transactions.
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and special events such as banquets or catering functions.
- Previous experience in the food industry or hospitality sector is advantageous; nightclub or brewing experience is a plus.
