What are the responsibilities and job description for the LCSW, LPC position at Bootheel Behavioral Health?
Qualifications:
- Must possess at least a master’s degree from an accredited educational institution in the field of psychology, social work, counseling, or other related field from an accredited university.
- Must have completed a practicum in behavioral health services.
- Must be eligible for licensure in Social Work or Counseling in the State of Missouri.
- Preference shall be given to those with additional graduate training and/or experience.
Duties:
- Provide initial intake assessment and develop and implement appropriate treatment planning.
- Conducting ongoing individual, group, and marital and family therapy sessions.
- Provide crisis intervention.
- Participate in diagnostic and cooperative treatment team planning of appropriate cases.
- Responsible for maintenance of client files in accordance with all local, state and federal regulations.
- Submit appropriate records for billing.
- Provide billable services appropriate to the clients’ needs while meeting the production expectation for the position.
- Facilitate and participate in continuity of care of clients served.
- Participate in on-call rotation of MOCARS for this agency’s service area.
- Supervise and evaluate personnel in the performance of their duties.
- Other duties as assigned.
