Position Requirements
- Provide at minimum three (3) annual onsite facility inspections per Cannabis Operator, including retailers and manufacturers, to ensure cannabis businesses comply with City Ordinances and regulations, and local and State cannabis laws.
- Provide a written report detailing the inspection findings along with recommended corrective actions.
- Work closely with engineers or architects to address issues and provide guidance on building regulations and safety requirements.
Required Education and Experience
- High school diploma: An associate or bachelor's degree in construction technology, civil engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- Knowledge of building-related codes and ordinances enforced by the City.
- Knowledge of computer programs, including spreadsheets and CAD software, and knowledge of fire alarm and sprinkler systems.
- Knowledge of general zoning and land use laws, general grading practices, codes, and ordinances related to cannabis operators.
