Role Description
This is a full-time position delivering food products in the tri state area. We work Monday through Friday, and we are home every weekend. Drivers are typically out 1 to 2 nights per week with paid hotel and meal subsistence pay. This job requires handling freight during deliveries. Applicant must be able to utilize a two-wheeler and ramp for deliveries. We pay full health insurance for employees, paid vacation and holidays.
As a Truck Driver Class A CDL, you will be responsible for safely operating a tractor-trailer to transport goods across various routes. Reporting to the Logistics Manager, your core skills in commercial driving and route navigation will ensure timely deliveries. Your premium skills with manual transmission and experience with refrigerated trailers will enhance your effectiveness in diverse driving conditions. Additionally, your relevant skills in load and unload operations, along with delivery driver experience, will contribute to the efficiency and reliability of our transportation services. Qualifications
- Possess a valid CDL Class A license
- Experienced in Truck Driving and Unloading cargo
- Knowledge of DOT Regulations and compliance
- Proficiency in operating and maintaining trucks
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and adhere to schedules
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred
- Previous experience in the transportation industry is beneficial
