About the Role
Booster is seeking a highly analytical and results-driven FP&A Analyst to join our finance team. This role is essential to driving strategic insights, supporting high-impact business decisions, and improving financial performance across the organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in financial modeling, forecasting, and data analysis, combined with the business acumen to influence cross-functional teams. As a FP&A Analyst, you’ll play a key role in budgeting, variance analysis, long- and short-term planning, and scenario modeling. Success in this role requires a proactive mindset, ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, the ability to navigate ambiguity, and the skill to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights.
This role is a hybrid role requiring 1 to 2 days per week in the office for in person collaboration with team members.

What You Will Be Doing
- Financial Planning: Lead the development of robust financial models, forecasts, budgets, and scenario analyses to drive strategic planning and decision-making, with clear, data-backed insights regularly presented to senior leadership& Analysis: Assist in the development of comprehensive financial models, forecasts, scenario analysis, and budgets to support strategic planning and decision-making processes.
- Performance Analysis: Conduct in-depth analysis of financial and operational performance metrics, identifying trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and present timely and accurate financial reports, dashboards, and
- presentations for senior management, investors, and other stakeholders.
- Forecasting & Budgeting: Support the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes, working closely with departmental heads to gather input, analyze data, and validate assumptions.
- Variance Analysis: Analyze actual financial results against budget and forecast, investigating variances and providing insightful explanations to key stakeholders.
- Business Partnering: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Finance, to provide financial insights and support strategic initiatives.
- Ad Hoc Analysis: Conduct ad hoc financial analysis and modeling to address specific business questions, evaluate investment opportunities, and assess the financial impact of proposed initiatives.
- Process Improvement: Continuously identify opportunities to enhance financial processes, systems, and controls to streamline operations and improve efficiency.
What You Should Already Have
- Strong academic background with a bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred; Progress on CFA designation a plus.
- 4 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, investment banking, management consulting, or related field.
- Strong proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, accounting, and analytics; advanced Excel skills required.
- Ability to distill business performance and extract financial information from income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow statements.
- Strong understanding of financial statement analysis, accounting, and corporate finance concepts
- Experience with financial planning software and BI tools (e.g., Tableau) preferred.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail and ability to distill complex data into actionable insights.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate financial information to non-finance stakeholders.
- Superior communication skills; verbal and written.
- Proactive, self-motivated, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Must be comfortable taking the initiative to learn and own work product and process in a collaborative environment.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
Salary Range: $98,000 - $125,000
