Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable API specifications using OpenAPI/YAML with enhanced data security
- Create and maintain build and deployment pipelines for CI/CD implementation
- Manage the full API lifecycle, ensuring smooth deployment and integration
- Collaborate with application teams to gather business requirements for API implementation
- Ensure up-to-date API documentation, maintain code quality, and apply appropriate logging, monitoring, and security standards
- Troubleshoot API issues, perform root cause analysis for production problems, and contribute to technical user stories for integration
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree in a technical field and 6 years of experience in the development, and implementation of enterprise-wide solutions based on Java Technologies (Java, J2EE, Web Services), or equivalent experience
- 4 years of experience in the development, and implementation of Amazon Cloud solutions: AWS Lambdas and step functions, Amazon EventBridge, CloudWatch, AWS AppConfig, ASL, and AWS DocumentDB enterprise-wide solutions based on Java Technologies (Java, J2EE, Web Services, Spring, Spring Boot)
- 6 years of experience developing and implementing enterprise solutions using Java technologies (Java, J2EE, Webservices, Spring, Spring Boot)
- 3 years of hands-on experience with Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Spring Integration, microservices
- Proficient in deploying microservices on Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience with CI/CD tools, version control (GitLab), and test-driven development practices
- Strong understanding of security protocols (OAuth, SAML) and event-driven, message-based, and caching architectures
- Skilled in API Gateway & Management tools (e.g., Apigee) and AWS cloud products
