Duties
- Greet customers warmly and provide knowledgeable assistance on lawn care, landscape maintenance, floral design, and gardening products
- Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system efficiently to process sales, handle cash transactions accurately, and manage retail math calculations
- Stock shelves, organize merchandise displays, and ensure products are well-presented to attract customer interest
- Assist customers with product selection based on their needs, offering advice on horticulture techniques or landscape projects
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the store environment to promote a safe and inviting shopping space
- Support inventory management by monitoring stock levels and assisting with merchandise replenishment
- Engage in cross-selling opportunities by promoting e-commerce options or seasonal items to enhance sales
Requirements
- Strong communication skills in English; multilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customers
- Passion for gardening, horticulture, floral design, or outdoor maintenance; prior experience in lawn care or landscape maintenance is beneficial
- Familiarity with retail operations including cashiering, POS systems, cash handling, and retail math
