Bilingual Retail Sales Representative

Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Bilingual Sales Representative to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service while effectively communicating with clients in both English and another language. Your primary goal will be to drive sales, assist customers with their needs, and contribute to a positive shopping experience.

Duties

* Must be available to work full day 10-hour shifts

• Engage with customers to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
• Utilize bilingual skills to communicate effectively with a diverse clientele.
• Operate cash registers and POS systems accurately for processing transactions.
• Maintain stock levels and ensure the sales floor is organized and visually appealing.
• Apply retail math skills to assist in inventory management and sales reporting.
• Upsell products by identifying opportunities based on customer preferences.
• Supervise junior staff members when needed, providing guidance and support.
• Exhibit excellent phone etiquette when handling customer inquiries or concerns.

Requirements

• Bilingual proficiency in English and another language is essential.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to connect with customers.
• Basic math skills for handling transactions and inventory calculations.
• Experience with cash registers and POS systems preferred.
• Knowledge of retail math concepts is a plus.
• Ability to upsell products effectively based on customer interactions.
• Previous retail or sales experience is advantageous but not mandatory.
• A proactive attitude towards learning and adapting in a fast-paced environment.
