What are the responsibilities and job description for the School Crossing Guard position at BOONVILLE R-1 SCHOOL DISTRICT?
The Boonville R-I School District is accepting applications for a Part-Time Crossing Guard.
This is a 2-hour-per-day, 9-month position that plays an important role in helping ensure the safety of our students as they travel to and from school.
Responsibilities include:
- Assisting students in safely crossing streets before and after school
- Monitoring traffic and pedestrian activity at the assigned crossing location
- Promoting and reinforcing safe crossing procedures
- Providing a dependable and friendly presence for students and families
Applicants should be dependable, punctual, safety-conscious, and comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.
