Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Registered Respiratory Therapist located in Columbia, MO. The role involves providing comprehensive respiratory care to patients, including assessments, diagnostic testing, treatment administration, and ongoing monitoring. Responsibilities include working with multidisciplinary teams, operating respiratory therapy equipment, and delivering care to various patient populations, including neonatal, pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients. The therapist will adhere to established medical protocols and collaborate with medical staff to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge and skills in Cardiopulmonary and Respiratory Care
- Experience in Neonatal Intensive Care and Respiratory Therapy
- Proficiency in applying principles of Medicine in respiratory treatments
- Current licensure as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, and/or NRP certifications required or obtainable within a specified timeline
- Excellent communication, critical thinking, and teamwork skills
- Experience in a hospital or clinical setting preferred
