Part-Time Member Experience Coordinator – Weekends

Boone FLEX is a community-centered recreation and wellness facility serving individuals and families of all ages and abilities. We're looking for a friendly, dependable person to provide consistent weekend coverage at our front desk and help keep the facility welcoming, organized, and running smoothly.

What You'll Do

As a Member Experience Coordinator, you'll be the primary point of contact for members and guests during your shift. Responsibilities include:

• Welcome and check in members and guests
• Process day passes, memberships, registrations, and payments
• Answer questions about memberships, classes, programs, amenities, and facility policies
• Answer phones and assist with in-person inquiries
• Provide facility tours when needed
• Support event, rental, and program check-ins
• Keep the front desk, lobby, and common areas clean and organized
• Complete light facility tasks such as laundry, making coffee, restocking supplies and vending machines, resetting spaces, and basic cleaning
• Complete regular facility walkthroughs and address basic cleanliness or operational needs
• Document questions, concerns, or issues that require management follow-up so they can be addressed during the week

You won't be expected to have every answer. We're looking for someone who can provide great service, handle what they can, and clearly communicate anything that needs additional follow-up.

What We're Looking For

• Friendly and comfortable interacting with a wide variety of people
• Dependable and punctual — consistent weekend availability is important for this position
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Able to work independently and stay productive during both busy and quieter periods
• Comfortable learning basic computer, POS, and member-management systems
• Able to stay organized and handle multiple needs as they arise
• Willing to help with light cleaning and general facility upkeep
• Able to remain on your feet for extended periods and lift/carry up to 15 pounds
• Previous customer service, hospitality, recreation, or front-desk experience is helpful but not required
• CPR/AED certification preferred or willingness to obtain within 60 days
• Must be 18 years of age or older, as this position will work independently and may be the only staff member on site at times.

Schedule

This position is intended to provide regular weekend coverage, with a typical schedule of:

Saturday: 8:00 AM–4:00 PM
Sunday: 12:00 PM–4:00 PM

We understand that occasional time off will be needed. Shift swaps or alternate coverage can be arranged when possible with advance notice. Occasional adjusted or holiday hours may be required based on facility operations.

Pay: From $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 12.0 – 15.0 per week
