Medical Technologist
Shift: Days
Shift Time Schedule: 10 am – 8:30 pm
Days: Monday – Thursday
Salary range: $27.00 - $36.56/hour
Position Summary
Performs qualitative and quantitative analysis for waived, moderately and highly complex testing on laboratory specimens for diagnosis and treatment of disease. Performs calibration, preventive maintenance and basic troubleshooting of instrumentation and equipment; provides information to healthcare providers regarding test methods and interpretation. Analyzes quality control data, makes judgement concerning results and takes appropriate action to maintain test accuracy. Assists with writing and revising laboratory procedures, other functions.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Medical Technology, Medical Laboratory Science, or related field.
- ASCP, MLS(ASCPi), NCA, AMT, MT (AMT) or MT (HEW) certification.
- Willingness and ability to work Monday – Thursday, 10 a.m. to 8:30 pm schedule.
