Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Nurse to join our team. This role is ideal for a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) who is passionate about rural healthcare and eager to make a difference in the lives of our patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care, including assessment, planning, intervening and evaluating patients within the specific scope of practice.
- Assist with patient intake, medical history, and physical examinations.
- Educate patients and their families on health management, treatment plans, and preventative care.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.
- Perform routine medical procedures and diagnostic tests as needed.
- Address patient concerns and provide emotional support.
- Participate in clinic activities and continuous professional development.
Qualifications:
- Valid RN or LPN license in Nebraska, graduate of an accredited school/college of nursing, OR Certified Medical Assistant with current certification and relevant clinical experience.
- Prior experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in a rural or community health environment, is a plus.
- Strong clinical skills and the ability to work independently.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to adapt to a variety of tasks and manage time effectively.
- Commitment to providing compassionate and patient-centered care.
